Details: Drive through donation drive put on by Women’s March Redding in support of Shasta Mutual Aid.
We will have some folks directing you through the donation center. Please remain in your car with your mask on and we will unload your donations at the appropriate station. If possible, feel free to have them in your trunk for easy and contact-free unloading.
Items that are in particular need are:
- New or gently used and washed cold weather gear for all ages and genders
- Non-perishable and un-expired food items (cans with pop tops are especially helpful for unhoused folks)
- New socks and underwear for all
- Unopened toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner, soap, etc.
- If you prefer, we will be accepting cash and check donations made out to Shasta County Mutual Aid
All donations will be distributed to local individuals and families through Shasta County Mutual Aid and other local community groups.
We also have some limited edition new gear for participants. The first 100 donors will receive a WMR 2021 sticker and those who bring 3 new/unopened packs of socks or underwear will get a free WMR tote bag while supplies last.
